How to overcome decision fatigue.
As a busy doctor and a coach, I've dealt with decision fatigue a lot, especially when I was burnt out as a newly qualified junior doctor. Decision fatigue comes up when you're stressed, working long hours and tired from making too many decisions in a day. In this video, I share some ideas for you to beat decision fatigue and use habits and routines to make your life easier. Use the advice in this video to help you overcome decision fatigue and live an easier lifestyle.

    Great video, very well articulated, thank you! I'll try a few of your tips - currently even the thought of writing down my (mostly work-related) tasks fills me with so much anxiety, I feel like avoidance and freeze mode have been dominating my days for so long. I'll try resetting and some self-care to get out of this crippling mindset.

    If something is not happening just move on. Don't struggle. Just move on. (Be flexible. It's your best friend). It doesn't have to happen right now. Don't be adamant & stuck on things. (getting angry) Be flexible and move on. Keep the flow going. x

    This is great! As a primary school teacher I’m not making life or death decisions but apparently we make 6 decisions every minute we are teaching so I totally relate to the decision fatigue! I will definitely use some of your suggestions ❤

      The trifecta 🤣 honestly, it took me over a year to start feeling better, maybe 18 months. Some people recover much faster. Always happy to help if you need it 🫶✨️

    Thanks, self-care is more than putting on a face mask or writing in a journal with a calligraphy pen. For those of us who are exhausted, we need much more than some fancy label clothing to cheer us up.

    The past decade of my life has literally fight or flight mode as I fought & beat cancer 3x, however, treatment has left me with debilitating pain, which makes it even more important for me to s l o w d o w n and just be still. Embrace the moment, actually chew and savor my food, etc. I hardly check/use my phone unless it's to play something educational;) or meditative. Getting sick showed me how important it is to slow down and that life is truly what you make of it. ❤ To a healthy, softer life.🎉🎉🎉

    Just found your channel and LOVE everything I have watched. 🙂 these are all such great tips and are actually realistic for me! Those cuticle trimmers are such a simple thing that make a difference in my life. Otherwise, I’m picking at my hands and next thing I know, they’re bleeding and a mess. Maybe I should buy a couple of extra pairs so I can keep them convenient at all times. 😂 Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

    Is there a treatment for night blindness or surgery that makes the person with this disease see normal as the rest of the people?
